ASLA Conference Brown Bag

Bring your lunch to the Triangle West Room on the 3rd floor of the CALA East building on Wednesday, September 30 for the second Brown Bag discussion of the year.

A group of students will be talking about their trip to the ASLA Annual Meeting that took place September 18-21 in Chicago.

Bowling Study Break

Hi everyone,

Mark Flemming and I are going to take a bowling study break next week on Wednesday (30 September 2009). Want to join us?

Where: Lucky Strike Bowling Lanes, 4015 E. Speedway Blvd

Getting There: Bus #4 ($1.25 each way, exact change required)

Time: Depart @ 4:30pm from the Speedway/Olive Underpass stop, Arrive @ 4:40 at the Speedway/Alvernon stop. Return around 6pm

Rates: $4.99/game $2.95 for shoes (I'm looking for coupons)

Bring Your Garden to the Garden Potluck


As the title states. We brought food from our garden to the Cala Garden and had a great potluck. It's was a great time getting a chance to get to know each other better after another week in studio while eating some home grown food.


First Brown Bag of the Fall 2009 with Chris Kiefer

It was a fun summer and especially for Chris Kiefer who was on a mission this summer. This summer he travel through Western Europe and came back and gave us a talk about his travels and findings. It was a good turn out and a great time.

Brook's House - All College Dinner

The first event of the year at Brooks house for an all graduate college dinner and get together. It was nice to see new and old faces and get a chance to talk about the summer.
